PSC Condemns Vandalism at Junts Headquarters in Manresa During 8-M

Socialist leaders reject violence after protesters smashed windows and spray-painted the party's local office.

The PSC executive in the Bages region has strongly condemned the attack on the Junts headquarters in Manresa this Sunday, March 8th, during a local feminist demonstration.

The incident took place at Passeig de la República, where a group of hooded individuals broke the glass door and sprayed red paint on the building. The protest was organized by several local groups, including Acció Lila and Arran Manresa.

"In a democracy, we must stick to the power of the word, respect for others, and the confrontation of ideas, but never by using violence."

The Socialist party stated that ideological differences should never lead to violence. During the events, protesters shouted slogans against the local leader of the formation, Ramon Bacardit, while the damage was being done.
