The Rodalies Renfe service cut this Wednesday caused severe mobility disruptions between Manresa and Terrassa, forcing users like Fàtima to endure three-hour journeys.

The Rodalies Renfe service cut caused serious mobility problems for users, especially students and workers who rely on the train for commuting. At the Manresa station, uncertainty and a lack of information defined the day.
Fàtima, a worker at Terrassa City Council, described her journey as "a real odyssey." The return trip home was particularly complicated, involving combining regional railways to Sant Cugat, another journey to the UAB, and finally, a bus to Manresa.

"It took me three hours to get home."

The Rodalies lines began operating again from 5 p.m., although the R4 South (between Sant Sadurní and Martorell) and the R11 (track 2 between Caldes and Girona) continued with restrictions. This was communicated by Adif to the Minister of Territory, Sílvia Paneque.
The lack of transport alternatives from Bages towards Terrassa was a critical issue, as neither the Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat nor any direct bus service had been enabled. Student Paula from the Polytechnic University of Terrassa lamented her "feeling of helplessness" during exam season.
