Sant Fruitós de Bages launches public vote to name four local parks

Residents can choose the names for public spaces in Pineda de Bages from March 6 to 23.

The Sant Fruitós de Bages City Council has launched the Parcs amb nom propi initiative, allowing citizens to vote on the names for four public parks in Pineda de Bages.

Voting will take place from March 6 to 23. The project aims to name three existing public areas that currently lack a formal title, as well as a new park being developed in the Pineda IV residential sector.
The proposed names were selected in collaboration with the Pineda de Bages Neighborhood Association. Options include nature-inspired titles like Parc de la Font and socially significant names such as Parc de les Dones or Parc de la Igualtat.
All registered residents over the age of 16 are eligible to participate. Votes can be cast online via the official municipal website or in person at the Municipal Library and the Town Hall.
