Music students from Berga, Puigcerdà, La Seu d'Urgell, and Pallars will meet this Saturday, March 14th, in the capital of Alt Urgell for the fourth annual String Meeting.

The event will bring together seventy elementary-level students of violin, viola, cello, and double bass. This year's edition marks the inclusion of the Pallars Itinerant School of Music and Dance, joining established participants from Berga and Cerdanya.
The program includes creative workshops and an orchestral session where students will work on variations of classical pieces. In the afternoon, the children will explore the connection between music and visual arts while listening to Vivaldi's Spring from The Four Seasons.
The meeting will conclude with a public performance at 4:00 PM in Plaça de les Monges. This initiative, which started in 2022, aims to strengthen cultural networks between the four Pyrenean regions through shared musical education.
