World-renowned mountain runner Teresa Forn Munné has recently retired from her role as a fitness instructor in Manresa after forty years of service to the local community.

Born on October 27, 1959, Forn has maintained a unique balance between elite sports and her job. Although she became a world champion in 2003, she always prioritized her classes in the Bages region over professional athletics. She recently returned to competition at the Marató de l'Alba after recovering from a spinal injury.

"Titles are tempting, but the races I enjoyed the most are not the ones I won."
