The Els Carlins theater hosted the ceremony for this award, established by Esquerra and Jovent Republicà in 2002. The prize highlights women who have made significant contributions to social and professional life. Rosinés was specifically recognized for her work in Sierra Leone, Cameroon, and Senegal.
“"Useful cooperation is that which is exercised with respect and continuity."
During the event, Mariona Homs, a councillor at Manresa City Council, emphasized that the award is a tribute to the values that build the city. The ceremony also included a tribute to the late Montserrat Roldán and a manifesto highlighting that talent has no gender.
The recognition comes just as a medical team from Althaia Foundation prepares to travel to Thiés, Senegal, this Saturday. This mission continues a long-standing partnership with the Sant Joan de Déu Hospital that began in 2013.
