The Bombers de la Generalitat (Firefighters) extinguished two dumpster fires in Manresa on Thursday evening, occurring just 20 minutes apart, with one incident producing heavy smoke.

The first alert was received shortly before 7:30 PM at the junction of Sarret i Arbós and Sant Josep streets. When the fire truck arrived, the flames were minimal, and the extinguishing process was very quick.
This rapid response allowed the same vehicle to move to the second location, on Cintaires street, opposite the Ateneu, where the alarm was raised at 7:46 PM. In this instance, the paper container was fully engulfed in flames, generating intense smoke.
The main challenge during the second fire was the proximity of several vehicles parked nearby, although the swift action of the Bombers de la Generalitat prevented the flames from spreading to the cars.
These incidents follow another container fire reported in the city on Wednesday evening, specifically on Canonge Muntanyà street.
