Twenty painting enthusiasts gathered this March 1st in the center of Manresa to participate in the third Urban Sketchers del Bages meeting, focusing on the city's iconic landmarks.

Organized by the Cercle Artístic de Manresa, the group settled near the Seu basilica. Participants like Allison Newman, originally from Manchester, joined local artists to practice 'in situ' drawing, a movement that started in the United States and has gained popularity across Catalonia.

"Urban sketcher groups have become very famous throughout Catalonia. They come to have fun and be in a community."

Maria Jesús Royo · Organizer
The event concluded with a showcase of the different styles and techniques used, from detailed watercolor paintings to minimalist sketches, highlighting the architectural beauty of the Bages capital.
