Several municipalities in the Bages, Moianès, and Lluçanès regions are celebrating their winter major festivals this weekend with an extensive program including concerts, popular traditions, and cultural events.

The Winter Major Festival (Festa Major d'Hivern) is the main attraction in towns like Moià, Sant Fruitós de Bages, and Sant Vicenç de Castellet. In Moià, the celebration focuses on the traditional Tres Tombs (Three Turns) parade, with the concentration of participants for the Saint Anthony cavalcade on Sunday morning, followed by the blessing of the animals and the performance of the Ball del Contrapàs curt dance.
In Sant Fruitós de Bages, Friday features a concert with Juriol, Els Catarres, and Dj KZU. On Saturday, the patron saint's festivity includes performances by the Geganters i Grallers (Giants and Flute Players) and a sardana dance with the Cobla Ciutat de Manresa. Meanwhile, Sant Vicenç de Castellet offers free concerts, such as the Estopa tribute by Cacho a Cacho on Saturday night, and the performance by the Orquestra New Marabú on Sunday.
In Lluçanès, Prats de Lluçanès celebrates its Saint Vincent Major Festival with cultural proposals like the show La memòria del gel by Ada Vilaró on Friday and the concert by Strombers on Saturday night. In Súria, the Saint Sebastian Festival includes the historical race La Cur(s)a de Còlera on Sunday, recreating the 1885 cholera epidemic, and an exhibition about the illustrious local figure Magí Fàbrega i Cortès.
Other notable events include the Antiques, Art, and Collectibles Market in Igualada on Sunday, and the immersive videomapping experience Lux Splendens at the Santa Maria basilica in Montserrat, which is part of the Montserrat Millenary celebration.
