The Mossos d'Esquadra police force received the emergency call at 2:33 PM. For reasons currently under investigation, the operator fell while working on the roof of the industrial facility.
Despite the rapid response from the Medical Emergency System (SEM) and police units, medical staff were unable to save the worker's life. The incident has been reported to the Manresa duty court.
This fatality adds to a concerning trend in Catalonia, which saw 85 workplace deaths in 2025, the highest figure recorded in the region since 2009.
