The Bages team, Adbisio ETL Global CN Manresa, fell once again to Ciudad de Alcorcón, which now ties them in the standings, repeating the defeat suffered previously in Madrid (9-4). The key factor was the stellar performance of the visiting goalkeeper, Adrián Díaz, who constantly frustrated the local attacks, especially during the last two quarters.
The Manresa side seemed to have control of the game when they led 7-5. However, an offensive collapse, lasting from the final minute of the third period until the last minute of the match, proved fatal. Furthermore, the effectiveness of rival players like D'Olhaberriague, who scored five goals, sealed the condemnation of the locals.
Up until the final eight minutes, the team coached by David Torilo had maintained the lead. In the first period, the good work of Wilson in goal and the two goals by Biel Fernández, one from a penalty, along with the contribution of Roc Serra at the center forward position, set the pace.
In the second quarter, only Roc Serra managed to score, achieving his second and final goal, which allowed the teams to reach halftime tied. The third period offered hope with a shot by Arnau León and two goals from Ivan Martínez (one from a penalty), but Calzadilla narrowed the gap before the final break.
In the decisive stretch, despite great saves by Albacete, Alcorcón took the lead and closed the score with two annotations by De Francisco, cementing the 1-5 partial in the last quarter that decided the match.
