Baxi Manresa travels to Istanbul this Tuesday afternoon to face Bahçesehir in the Eurocup, making the strategic decision to rest key players Eli Brooks and Hugo Benítez to ensure their full fitness for upcoming domestic league games.

Coach Diego Ocampo's decision to keep Brooks and Benítez out of the lineup, following their strenuous return from injury against Breogán on Saturday, reflects the non-decisive nature of this Eurocup fixture. Manresa is focusing on a more favorable upcoming schedule, which includes three home games and a visit to the last-placed team.

"They are a very difficult opponent, especially at home. Individually, they are certainly the best squad in the group. Their players do not need tactics to score."

Assistant Coach Carlos Flores emphasized that the team must remain “very faithful to our style,” applying full-court pressure to prevent talented players like Flynn or Jordan Ford from quickly advancing the ball and taking shots. Strong one-on-one defense against scorers such as Homesley and Hale will also be vital.
The trip to Turkey is the first of two challenging away games this week, preceding a crucial stretch of five consecutive home games at the Congost. Bahçesehir, which defeated Manresa 67-81 earlier in the season, is aiming to secure second place in the group. Historically, Baxi won at the Turkish venue in the 2023 BCL tournament.
