The meeting, organized by the Agència de Desenvolupament Local, aims primarily to present the catalog of business support services for the current year. The results of a recent survey conducted by the entity on the needs and profiles of personnel most in demand in the area will also be made public.

The director of the entity, Glòria Domínguez, will be responsible for detailing the services available to the business community, which include guidance, personalized advice, management of municipal aid, job placement, and training programs.

After the lunch break, the conference will continue with a keynote speech. Consultant and professor Josep M. Coll, author of the book Economia de la felicitat (Economics of Happiness), will deliver the eponymous lecture. Coll is an international speaker and professor at prestigious centers such as EADA Business School Barcelona and the universities of Yonsei (South Korea) and Birmingham.

Participation in the 8th Jornada Punt Empresa is completely free, but prior registration is required. Last year, the event gathered around ninety entrepreneurs, business owners, and technicians, and was held at the multipurpose hall in Clariana de Cardener.
