Several towns in Central Catalonia, including Manresa and Monistrol de Montserrat, are hosting a wide agenda of cultural, traditional, and historical events this February weekend.

The festive calendar in Central Catalonia this weekend features events ranging from historical tradition to motorsport. Key highlights include the passage of the prestigious Rallye Monte-Carlo Historique through Manresa and the celebration of the Festa dels Romeus in Monistrol de Montserrat, which recreates the 16th century.
In Manresa, Plaça Sant Domènec will serve as a control point for the world's most prestigious regularity rally caravan on Sunday, starting at 3:30 PM. This edition is reserved for automobiles that competed in the Rallye Monte-Carlo between 1911 and 1986. Concurrently, Gaià hosts the 40th Aplec and climb to the Santa Àgata chapel, featuring a solemn mass on Sunday.

The Festa dels Romeus in Monistrol de Montserrat transports visitors back to the 16th century to relive the historical origin of the Vot de Poble to Sant Sebastià during the bubonic plague.

The Fira de la Candelera (Candlemas Fair) in La Pobla de Claramunt (Anoia) offers a full program on Saturday and Sunday. Activities include a guided tour of the Spaces of Memory related to the Civil War, concerts, and a farmer's market featuring producers from the Conca d’Òdena Agricultural Park. Furthermore, the Montserrat Monastery continues its Millennium celebrations with the immersive videomapping Lux Splendens and conferences on Gaudí.
Other municipalities are also participating. Sant Fruitós de Bages holds its monthly antiques and collectibles fair on Saturday. Finally, Sant Vicenç de Castellet organizes the 4th Trobada de Romans i Armats SVC (Gathering of Romans and Armed Groups) on Sunday, while Súria celebrates the Festa de Sant Sebastià with a heritage visit through Cererols.
