Galician coach Diego Ocampo reached the milestone of 100 games managed for the Bàsquet Manresa first team last Sunday, consolidating his position at Nou Congost.

This achievement places him as the seventh coach with the most games managed in the history of the Manresa club. Round figures, such as the one completed by Ocampo, are often more representative than they initially seem, according to sources close to the entity.
The 100 matches are distributed across various competitions: 52 in the ACB, 16 in the Eurocup, 13 in the promotion play-off to the Liga Endesa in 2018, 12 in the Basketball Champions League during the 2024/2025 season, 6 in the Lliga Catalana, and one in the Copa del Rey in Las Palmas.

In this first centenary of managed duels, Diego Ocampo has achieved a positive balance, accumulating a total of 54 victories.

According to data published by journalist Xavier Prunés, Ocampo is only surpassed by six coaches in the history of Bàsquet Manresa. The historical leader is Pedro Martínez with 430 games, followed by Jaume Ponsarnau (233), Salva Maldonado (218), Antoni Serra (204), Ricard Casas (171), and Luis Casimiro (110).
