Regular commuters on the bus line connecting Manresa and Barcelona have expressed deep dissatisfaction regarding the lack of punctuality and constant service incidents provided by Monbus in recent days.

User frustration has intensified following the public transport chaos caused by the fatal accident that occurred last Monday on the R4 line of Rodalies de Catalunya in Gelida, in the Alt Penedès. This situation has highlighted persistent deficiencies in the bus service.

"The complaints, take them to the office..."

Part of the passenger collective using lines 530, e22, and e23 hoped for an improvement in punctuality and seat availability with the entry into force of the new concession, granted to the company Monbus. This company had promised new vehicles and more efficient public information mechanisms.

We continue to suffer every day worrying about whether we will be late for work. And many more people are like this, with this anxiety we have gotten used to.

The incidents are not limited to delays. A traveler reported that the driver of the bus she had just boarded in Barcelona had to ask passengers for help because she was unfamiliar with the route to Manresa. Furthermore, rain and landslides have forced some students to switch from the bus to the Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya (FGC) seeking a normalcy they have also failed to find.
