The CaixaBank Board of Directors today appointed Jaume Masana, previously Business Director, as the new CEO of SegurCaixa Adeslas, replacing Javier Murillo.

The appointment of Masana, originally from Manresa (1967), is part of a broader restructuring of the CaixaBank Management Committee, designed to adapt the organization to a more competitive and digital market. These changes involve redefining responsibilities in areas considered strategic for the financial group.
Jaume Masana, a graduate of Esade with further studies at New York University, has a long career in the sector. Before joining CaixaBank in 2013, he served as CEO of Catalunya Banc and Deputy General Manager of the former Caixa Manresa and Caixa Catalunya. Since January 2023, he held the position of Business Director for the entity.

This set of changes allows for the simplification of the organizational structure, strengthening governance and advancing technological disruption.

The internal reorganization also includes other key movements. Jordi Mondéjar will take over the Business Directorate left by Masana. Furthermore, Mariona Vicens will maintain the Digital Transformation Directorate and add responsibility for CaixaBank Payments & Consumer and imagin.
The Risk area is also being divided to simplify the structure. Manuel Galarza will lead the Credit Risk Admission and Monitoring Directorate, while Natividad Capella will assume the Risk Management and Compliance Directorate, joining the Management Committee.
