The first R4 line trains between Manresa and Terrassa failed to run this Tuesday morning, forcing frustrated passengers to rely on alternative bus transport due to service disruptions.

The situation at the Manresa station was one of total confusion during the early hours of Tuesday. Although the screens displayed regular departure times, no trains actually departed for Terrassa or Barcelona.

"At least we can trust the bus schedules, because the train didn't show up despite what the screens said."

According to Renfe, the disruptions are a direct consequence of the recent cancellation of the train drivers' strike. The company stated that Rodalies services are operating at 80% capacity, but in the Bages region, no trains ran until 9:00 AM.

"If there are trains, we'll take the train, and if not, the bus. We already suspected it wouldn't work."

Station staff redirected passengers to alternative buses departing every thirty minutes. Many students and workers admitted they now prefer road transport due to its better reliability compared to the ongoing rail issues in Central Catalonia.
