The situation at the Manresa station was one of total confusion during the early hours of Tuesday. Although the screens displayed regular departure times, no trains actually departed for Terrassa or Barcelona.

According to Renfe, the disruptions are a direct consequence of the recent cancellation of the train drivers' strike. The company stated that Rodalies services are operating at 80% capacity, but in the Bages region, no trains ran until 9:00 AM.

Station staff redirected passengers to alternative buses departing every thirty minutes. Many students and workers admitted they now prefer road transport due to its better reliability compared to the ongoing rail issues in Central Catalonia.
