The Catalan group Renaldo & Clara released the song 'Amb tu podria estar' this Friday, serving as the first single from their new album scheduled for launch during the spring.

The new track, released under Primavera Labels, deals with desire and the beginning of love. The composer, guitarist, and singer Clara Viñals, leader of the group, explained that she wanted to create a “guitar pop song” with straightforward lyrics.

"I felt like making a guitar pop song, with direct and simple lyrics, without metaphors, that would function as a kind of declaration of love."

Viñals also highlighted the unusual structure of the song, noting that it “has several parts with different metrics and rhymes,” allowing the track to progress freely without a clear distinction between chorus and verse until repetition.
Since their formation in 2009, Renaldo & Clara has released several EPs and singles, in addition to the albums Fruits del teu bosc (2014), Els afores (2017), L'amor fa calor (2020), and La boca aigua (2023), the latter winning Best Album at the Enderrock 2024 and MIN awards.
