The 'Ho provem en català?' (Shall we try it in Catalan?) badge campaign, informational materials, and conversation groups are among the initiatives promoted by the Sant Andreu Salut Foundation to foster the presence of Catalan in daily care and communication within its centers and services.
The objective is to facilitate the use of the language in patient care and in communication among professionals, patients, and families. This initiative is led by the foundation's Language Commission.
The 'Ho provem en català?' badge campaign visibly shows professionals' willingness to converse in Catalan and support those learning or wishing to practice it, creating an environment of support and collaboration.
Posters and informational leaflets are also being developed for residences, the Sant Andreu Hospital, and the Home Care Service (SAD), along with the creation of conversation groups for practicing the language.
These actions are part of the foundation's commitment to comprehensive, person-centered care, where communication is fundamental for building trust and providing quality service.
