The Sant Andreu Salut Foundation has participated in the development of the SiSS Manresa model, recognized with one of the Fenin Foundation's 2026 Technology and Health Awards in the Home Care category.

The award highlights the collaborative work among various regional institutions to advance towards more integrated, preventive, and person-centered social and healthcare. The project, also driven by the Manresa City Council, the Catalan Institute of Health – Central Catalonia, the Catalan Health Service, and the Althaia Foundation, specifically targets individuals with chronic conditions, dependency, or complex health and social needs.
The SiSS Manresa model promotes a shared vision where healthcare and social services work in coordination. Technology is used to share information, monitor patient progress, and detect early risk situations, thereby facilitating closer and more personalized home care.
The integration of technological solutions and artificial intelligence is complemented by professional training to anticipate needs and provide more humanized care. This recognition underscores an approach to innovation that places the individual at the center and transforms the coordination among involved stakeholders.
The awards ceremony took place at the Lope de Vega Theatre in Madrid. The project benefits from the collaboration of a broad ecosystem of companies and entities such as ISERN Medical, Digimevo, AIMA, Robbie.AI, INFINI, Fundació TIC Salut Social, Altia, Zerintia, UVic-UCC, Liberia Community, Control Live, Showee, Revita, and the Universitary Foundation of Bages (FUB).
Furthermore, the project is committed to training future professionals through educational settings like the Faculty of Medicine at UVic-UCC, Escola Montserrat, and Joviat, adapting their training cycles to integrated care.
