The Sant Fruitós de Bages City Council has launched a tourist package for visitors who wish to experience the traditional Rice Festival on Sunday, February 15, 2026.

The Sant Fruitós de Bages City Council has designed an experiential proposal for the Rice Festival (Festa de l’Arròs), one of the most emblematic and historic celebrations in the municipality of Bages. The main objective is for people coming from outside to gain deep insight into the local culture and gastronomy.
The experience will take place on Sunday, February 15, 2026, from 9:30 AM until three in the afternoon. The program includes a popular breakfast with 'botifarrada' (sausage), and a walk through Plaça Alfred Figueras and the Bosquet to enjoy the festive atmosphere.
The highlight is the visit to the Rice “kitchen,” where participants can take photos in traditional costumes and even stir the Rice. The activity concludes with a takeaway vermouth and the Rice lunch in the Bosquet area.
The price for this tourist package is 25 euros for two people, and tickets can be purchased directly through the municipal ticketing website.
