The International Music Festival of Cambrils has announced the addition of DSLDire Straits Legacy to its 2026 lineup, thus completing the program for its 51st edition with an exclusive concert in Catalonia.

The band, which keeps the legacy of Dire Straits alive with original members, will perform on Friday, August 7, at Parc del Pinaret. This performance represents the last name to be revealed for the festival, which will take place from July 28 to August 10, 2026.
DSLDire Straits Legacy distinguishes itself from tribute bands by the presence of musicians who recorded and toured with Mark Knopfler's original formation. They are currently on a world tour that will bring them to Catalonia for the first time this summer.
The group is led by keyboardist Alan Clark, a member of Dire Straits since 1980 and inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2018. Also part of the lineup are figures such as saxophonist Mel Collins, guitarist Phil Palmer, and percussionist Danny Cummings, all with a distinguished career within the band's history.
This luxury lineup offers an authentic reinterpretation of Dire Straits' greatest hits, including anthems such as Sultans of Swing, Money for Nothing, Romeo and Juliet, Walk of Life, Brothers in Arms, or Tunnel of Love. Tickets for the concert go on sale on April 21 at 11 AM through the Codetickets website.
