The 1st Primary Care Conference brought together over 240 professionals from different disciplines to share experiences and drive innovation in the healthcare sector. This initiative was conceived as a space for reflection, learning, and cohesion.
On the occasion of the World Primary Care Day, the work of 369 professionals ensuring close and quality care in the region's centers has been highlighted. Additionally, family photos were taken to commemorate the centers' anniversaries between 2025 and 2026.
The essential work of the healthcare system's administrative staff was also recognized on their world day, emphasizing their contribution to efficient, people-centered care.
Salut Sant Joan centers actively participated in solidarity projects, such as collecting 526 pairs of prescription and sunglasses for the “Reus per Gàmbia” project, thanking donors for their solidarity.
Furthermore, an open house event was held for future specialized healthcare training residents, who visited the Hospital Universitari Sant Joan de Reus, the Hospital Lleuger Antoni de Gimbernat de Cambrils, and the CAP Marià Fortuny.
To mark World Oral Health Day, primary care centers projected infographics promoting oral health in waiting rooms, reminding people of the connection between oral health and overall bodily health.
Finally, the completion of the professional career of Dr. Eusebi Múgica Bové, a dentist, at the Hospital Lleuger Antoni de Gimbernat de Cambrils was announced, highlighting his value as a team member.
