The municipality of Cambrils, along with Vila-seca, will host a weekend dedicated to dance, featuring street and stage performances, training sessions, and initiatives for creating new audiences. This event is part of the Dance Promotion Plan, driven by the Department of Culture of the Generalitat de Catalunya, aiming to invigorate the sector and foster territorial distribution.
From Friday, September 25th, to Sunday, September 27th, both locations will be filled with activities. In Cambrils, on Friday, September 25th, the "jugar el cos" workshop by Andrea El Ameri will take place at the Ateneu Juvenil. On Sunday, September 27th, the Plaça del Pòsit will be the stage for four Catalan companies presenting their shows: "Horabaixa" by Radicel·la, "Dosis" by Unaiuna, "Pelvis Loca" by Elelei, and "Lo que los árboles no cuentan" by Kiko López and Héctor Plaza.
The Autumn Dance Circuit, running from September 11th to October 25th, 2026, involves 12 Catalan municipalities working in tandem. This initiative is one of eleven measures within the 2023-2026 Dance Promotion Plan, led by the Catalan Association of Dance Professionals (APdC) and the Association of Professional Dance Companies of Catalonia (ACPDC). Cambrils is participating in this circuit for the third consecutive year.
