The Cambrils City Council has presented the results of a social diagnosis conducted between October 2025 and January 2026, warning about loneliness and loss of autonomy among those over 80.

The project, led by the Social Welfare Department and carried out by the ADESMA Foundation, involved 300 personal interviews with residents living alone or with elderly partners. This sample was drawn from an initial census of over 900 people in the Baix Camp municipality.

"We reaffirm the municipal commitment to dignified, safe, and quality aging for the elderly of Cambrils."
