With this incorporation, Castellvell del Camp, which previously received services from the former Serveis Funeraris Reus i Baix Camp, will transfer the comprehensive management of its wake room to FuneCamp. Until now, this room, which was expanded and renovated ten years ago, was administered directly by the council.
“"This service aims to guarantee quality and fair price to all citizens, as it is an essential service."
Castellvell del Camp joins the founding municipalities of the project —Reus, Salou, Vila-seca, and Constantí— and Alcover, which began its adhesion in September 2025. The president of FuneCamp, Sandra Guaita, emphasized the political will to incorporate more municipalities.
The CEO of FuneCamp, Montserrat Flores, explained that the adhesion process requires municipal approval and feasibility studies, anticipating that Castellvell del Camp's entry will be effective in the autumn. An informative plenary session open to residents will be held on January 20.
