The Centre Cívic Gregal in Reus celebrated its first anniversary last Monday, January 26, with an event open to users and associated entities, highlighting its role as a local community hub.

The commemorative event was inaugurated by the Mayor of Reus, Sandra Guaita, and featured testimonies from various community members and entities linked to the center. The celebration concluded with an emotional performance by the Singulars choir, the blowing out of the first anniversary candle, and a joint toast with all attendees.
The incorporation of the Centre Cívic Gregal into the municipal network has reinforced the goal of the Reus City Council to bring these facilities closer to all neighborhoods, consolidating them as open community and revitalization points.
During its first year of activity, the facility registered high attendance, with over 43,000 people having used its services. In this period, a total of 153 activities were organized, promoted both by the center itself and by municipal services and entities, in addition to hosting seven exhibitions.
The center has established itself as a key space for citizen attention and service, hosting municipal and non-municipal services such as the Emotional Well-being Guidance and Attention Service (SOABEM), the Nexes sexuality service, and the Consortium for Linguistic Normalization (CNL). Currently, it regularly hosts six entities and twelve others on an occasional basis.
