The video, shared by the Instagram account @circuliperladreta, shows the dangerous traffic violation committed by a driver of a silver Renault Clio in the city of Reus. The maneuver involved taking the roundabout on the left, mimicking the driving style practiced in countries like the United Kingdom, Australia, or Japan.
The incident occurred in Plaça Ghandi in Reus, right in front of the Oficina Integral 02 Reus (part of the National Social Security Institute). The vehicle, which was already improperly parked in a disabled spot, joined the traffic without realizing it was traveling in the wrong direction.
The recklessness was close to causing a collision with another car and, subsequently, with a motorcycle.
The driver's mistake nearly caused a collision. First, with another car correctly using the inner lane of the roundabout. Thanks to the low speed of both vehicles, they managed to stop inches apart. After being reprimanded, the offending driver did not change direction but continued navigating through traffic.
Shortly after, the driver almost hit a motorcycle, whose rider had to swerve to avoid an accident. Finally, the vehicle exited the roundabout onto Ricard Artiga i Esplugas Street, where, this time, the driver resumed circulation in the correct lane.
