The Ministry of Health has confirmed it has no evidence of irregularities regarding the exam taken by Bianca Ciobanu, the Reus resident who achieved the highest MIR score in Spain.

The government department addressed the controversy following the publication of provisional results. Officials stated that there is no record of the University of Rovira i Virgili (URV) student cheating during the medical residency entrance exam.
Sources from the Ministry highlighted that Ciobanu did not even leave the room to use the restroom during the test, a common point of monitoring in these massive competitive examinations.

"The Ministry has no evidence whatsoever that this person copied during the test."

The suspicion arose among fellow students who were surprised by the high score, noting that her previous academic record in Tarragona was average. However, the Ministry maintains full confidence in the transparency and integrity of the current evaluation system.
