The Institut Baix Camp in Reus inaugurated the Technical Conferences on Commerce and Marketing on Monday, February 2, a training program for students featuring professionals and key entities.

The Pere Martorell Technical Conferences on Commerce and Marketing are held at the Institut Baix Camp in Reus from February 2 to 12, 2026. This training initiative is specifically aimed at students enrolled in the CFGM in Commercial Activities and the CFGS in Marketing and Advertising cycles.
The inauguration ceremony took place on Monday at the center's theater, featuring notable institutional presence. Attendees included the Second Deputy Mayor of Reus, Josep Baiges, the Councilor for Education, Maria Pilar López Bastida, and the Territorial Coordinator of Professional Education in Tarragona, Rosa Carbonell Martí.
The extensive program includes conferences, specialized workshops, and practical activities held in the city streets. Participating professionals include Husam Dabbagh, Saray Bagés, Isabel Gràcia, and Daniel Guzman, alongside reference entities such as ESIC, the Universitat Rovira i Virgili (URV), and the Cluster TIC Tarragona.
The conferences aim to strengthen the connection between education, business, and the city, incorporating commercial scavenger hunts, entrepreneurship workshops, and sessions dedicated to applying the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to marketing. The official closing ceremony is scheduled for Thursday, February 5, featuring a speech by the Councilor for Business, Training, and Employment, Òscar Subirats.
