The 30th edition of the Reus Trapezi Fair has closed its doors, having attracted 45,000 spectators and achieving 98% occupancy in its indoor shows, reinforcing the city's position as a circus hub.

The Circus Fair of Catalonia, Trapezi, has concluded its 30th edition in Reus with notable figures: 45,000 attendees and an average of 98% occupancy in its indoor shows. The organization positively assessed not only the public and professional data but also the approach adopted over the last four years towards a new working philosophy within the sector.
The fair's co-director, Cristina Cazorla, highlighted the shift in focus towards "camaraderie, embrace, and smiles to work together." The management team, composed of Cazorla and Alba Sarraute, has expressed their desire to continue leading the fair, for which the artistic direction will soon be put out to tender for the next four years.
This year, the fair celebrated three decades of history with around sixty companies and eighty performances spread across squares, streets, and theaters in Reus. The organization estimates that approximately 45,000 people participated in the program, with 98% occupancy for paid shows, further establishing the capital of Baix Camp as a circus benchmark.
The professional segment of the event gathered over 300 accredited professionals during three days, featuring round tables, project presentations, and activities aimed at fostering connections and new opportunities within the industry.
The mayor of Reus, Sandra Guaita, emphasized Trapezi's ability to "generate excitement" and fill the city. The Councilor for Culture, Daniel Recasens, indicated the intention to continue increasing audience numbers while maintaining a commitment to artistic quality.
The celebration of the thirtieth anniversary coincides with the fourth edition under the direction of Cristina Cazorla and Alba Sarraute, who have reviewed their work, emphasizing the promotion of "camaraderie" and the creation of bonds among circus professionals.
