The red-and-black club confirmed its second acquisition in this winter transfer window. It is midfielder Lluís Estebe, who arrives on loan from Sabadell until the end of the season. The player, aged 20, fills a position that currently required reinforcements.
The need for this reinforcement stems from the injury absence of Ramon Folch, who still has approximately two weeks left to complete his recovery. This loan is until the end of the campaign, and Estebe is the second player from Sabadell to land in Reus this season, following the incorporation of full-back Pol Fernández Serra last summer.
Estebe could even be included in the squad for this Sunday's commitment, which Reus must face at the Estadi against Castellón B. A week ago, against Espanyol B, the first winter acquisition, Marcel Céspedes, who arrived from Europa, already made his debut.
Now, Reus is rushing to complete this window with a reliable center-forward, following the departure of Dani Homet. This third acquisition will close the club's operations this January and reinforce a squad that aims to maintain the good run of results that has placed them in an ascent play-off position.
