Olga Vorobeva won the first point against Jiaqi Liu (3-1). Guo Ruichen then beat the legendary Ni Xia Lian 3-2 in a tight contest. Andrea Todorovic sealed the victory by defeating Szandra Pergel 3-1.

The second leg will take place this Saturday at the CTT Ganxets facilities in Reus. The local team will qualify for the semifinals with a win or even a narrow 2-3 loss.
