Civil Protection issued an emergency mobile alert this Saturday, February 14, for the Baix Camp and Terres de l'Ebre regions due to dangerous wind conditions.

The storm Oriana has brought gusts exceeding 90 km/h to southern Catalonia. Authorities have activated the VENTCAT emergency plan, advising citizens to cancel outdoor activities and avoid unnecessary travel throughout the weekend.
Significant incidents have already been reported, including a truck overturning on the AP-7 highway near l'Hospitalet de l'Infant. Additionally, the R16 train line service between Tortosa and l'Aldea-Amposta has been suspended for safety reasons.
