The Festivities of Mare de Déu de la Roca return to Mont-roig del Camp from August 30 to September 8, organized by the Patronage and the Parish, combining tradition, music, and popular culture.

From August 30 to September 8, Mont-roig del Camp will host the traditional Festivities of Mare de Déu de la Roca. The celebration, organized by the Patronage of Mare de Déu de la Roca and the Parish of Sant Miquel Arcàngel, will focus on tradition, community, and local heritage.
The program combines religious events, such as a Mass at the Hermitage, with cultural and popular offerings. Highlights include a sardana dance by La Principal de Tarragona, the traditional 'ball de coques' (a type of pastry dance), and various family activities. One of the most anticipated events is the fellowship lunch, which this year costs 16 euros per ticket.
Tickets for the lunch can be purchased until September 5 at Merceria Espasa, La Teva Llar, and at the Hermitage. Additionally, at 3:30 PM, a legends activity will take place around the hermitage, with the collaboration of writer and storyteller Judit Robert Masià.
To facilitate access to the events, the Town Council of Mont-roig del Camp will provide a free bus service from the CAP (Health Center). This transport service will offer round trips throughout the festive day.
