Catalan developer Loom Studios BCN is creating Myth of Valderit, a first-person psychological horror game inspired by the legends surrounding the abandoned village of la Mussara in the Prades Mountains.

Scheduled for release in the third quarter of 2026, the game follows a protagonist named Nil as he explores a cursed version of the village. The setting is based on the real-life ghost town in Vilaplana, which has been uninhabited since the 1960s and is famous for its paranormal folklore.
The developers have integrated an adaptive system that changes the tension and music based on player reactions. A limited playtest is currently available on Steam, allowing users to experience the dark atmosphere inspired by local landmarks like the Sant Salvador church.
