The court sentenced the main educator to 15 months in prison and fines totaling nearly 10,000 euros. The investigation began in Reus after a trainee student and a neighbor reported violent behavior toward the minors.
Police recordings showed shouting, hitting, and dangerous situations, such as leaving a child alone on a high changing table. The director of the center was also fined for failing to prevent the crimes.

The ruling includes a compensation of 2,500 euros for each of the seven affected children. The sentence is not yet final as appeals have been filed by the parties.
