More than 3,500 people participated this summer in cultural and heritage activities organized in Vandellòs i l’Hospitalet de l’Infant, according to municipal data.

Guided tours of local heritage were the most popular, attracting nearly 1,700 participants. The Coll de Balaguer Hospital received 881 visitors, followed by the Southwest Tower of the Hospital (354) and the Molí de l’Oli (285). Initiatives like "L’Almadrava, fishing village" and "Architecture and Memory" also saw strong engagement.
Street circus performances gathered around 1,100 people with acts from five companies in l'Hospitalet de l'Infant and Vandellòs. Art exhibitions attracted 731 visitors throughout July, August, and September.
The Tourism program complemented the offerings with free activities in the natural environment, such as cinema under the stars, environmental workshops, snorkeling sessions, and beach yoga. These open-access events primarily drew local and national audiences, with snorkeling trips and "Caminades amb valor" (Walks with Value) reaching full capacity.
The Councilor for Culture, Heritage, and Tourism, M. Elidia López, emphasized that the figures demonstrate the value of the municipal heritage and the public's interest in discovering it. "We will continue working to ensure that culture and heritage are accessible to both residents and visitors," she stated.
The annual program, which includes guided tours and summer cultural activities, received financial support from the Diputació de Tarragona with a subsidy of €13,640.98 through the ImpulsDipta Plan's culture program.
