Police operation in Riudoms with five arrests for drug trafficking in a bar

A joint police operation in Riudoms has led to the arrest of five individuals and their indictment for a public health offense, following an intervention at a bar in Plaça Petita.

The operation, part of citizen security efforts, took place from 6:00 PM on Friday until 3:00 AM. It involved personnel from the Mossos d'Esquadra and the Guàrdia Municipal.
During the intervention, officers seized a total of 22 packets of cocaine, 11 of marijuana, and one of hashish. Additionally, several items of dubious origin, such as watches and mobile phones, as well as hundreds of euros in cash and a vehicle, were confiscated.
Inside the establishment, located next to Plaça de la Iglesia, 14 individuals were identified, some of whom had prior records. The Guàrdia Municipal, for its part, issued several administrative citations for irregularities detected at the premises.
