Police operation Kanpai ends with 13 arrests and 400 identified in Reus

The Reus City Police, Mossos d'Esquadra, National Police, and Civil Guard arrested 13 people in Reus this Friday during a major operation against repeat offenders.

The operation, named Kanpai, targeted specific neighborhoods such as Sant Josep Obrer and Gaudí, along with bus and train stations. Officers identified 408 individuals with prior police records in the city and inspected two local businesses.
Across the Camp de Tarragona region, including Tarragona, Valls, and el Vendrell, the deployment involved over 320 officers. The total count reached 33 arrests and more than 1,100 identifications to improve public safety.
