Dozens of R-15 line users gathered at the Reus station on Monday, January 26, 2026, after two regional trains were canceled, leading to significant delays and strong indignation.

The chaotic situation began early in the morning when the regional trains scheduled for 8:36 a.m. and 9:06 a.m., heading to Barcelona, were ultimately canceled. Affected travelers had to be relocated onto buses that transported them to the Tarragona station to continue their journey by train.

"In Vinaixa there were four large buses and one small one, and nobody knew what we had to do; they took us to Plana de Picamoixons and sent us to Reus."

Ramon Puig · Affected Commuter
Commuter Ramon Puig, who had left Juneda shortly before five in the morning, described the confusion and disorganization at the transfer points. These replacement buses departed from Reus around 9:30 a.m., a considerable delay compared to the original schedule.
The next scheduled regional train, the 9:36 a.m. service, managed to leave with only a five-minute delay, but carried a notably reduced number of passengers due to the morning's disruption.
