The Red Cross in Reus has strengthened its social programs in 2026, focusing on memory workshops for the elderly and academic support for local teenagers.

At the headquarters on Doctor Ferran street, a group of people over 70 years old meet every Monday to exercise their cognitive skills through reading and mental math activities.

Additionally, the Migjorn Civic Center hosts a school success program for students from the Roseta Mauri Institute. This initiative provides academic help to minors under 17.

"There are more children who want to come, but the number of participants depends on the volunteers."
