Reus Airport Achieves Record Passenger Numbers in April with Nearly 130,000 Travelers

Reus Airport has kicked off the tourist season with record figures, registering nearly 130,000 passengers during the month of April, a notable increase compared to the previous year.

During April, the airport handled a total of 129,828 travelers, representing an 11.2% increase compared to the same period last year. This data consolidates the recovery of activity at the airport infrastructure.
The growth extends to the first four months of the year, with a total of 145,594 passengers between January and April, an 18.7% increase from the same period in 2025. These figures reflect a positive trend in air traffic.
Regarding aircraft movements, the airport recorded 2,497 operations during April and a total of 6,730 flights in the first four months, representing a 16.2% increase. This surge coincides with the start of the high season on the Costa Daurada and the expansion of international connections, particularly with the British and European tourist markets.
In the Catalan context, Barcelona-El Prat Airport surpassed 5.1 million passengers in April, while Girona-Costa Brava registered nearly 174,000 travelers during the same month.
