The victory was crucial for the Reus team, which arrived at the fourth round of Group A with zero points. Despite the pressure, the team conceded an initial 0-2 lead to Igualada Rigat with goals from Marc Carol (6th minute) and Roger Bars (9th minute).
The local reaction was almost immediate. Jansà narrowed the gap in the 10th minute. The temporary expulsion of visiting players such as Cañadillas, Pascual, and Ruano allowed Reus to capitalize on the numerical advantage. Martí Casas equalized in the 20th minute, and Salvat completed the comeback with the 3-2 score a minute later.
In the second half, Reus Deportiu Brasilia extended their lead thanks again to Martí Casas (36th minute), making it 4-2. Although Roger Bars scored the 4-3 goal in the 40th minute, the score remained unchanged until the end, thanks in part to the decisive saves by local goalkeeper Ballart.
With this narrow triumph, the team led by Jordi Garcia moves up to fourth place in Group A of the WSE Champions League. This position is the last one that grants access to the quarter-finals of the top continental competition, scheduled for mid-April.
