The match began with a frantic pace and very vertical play from both sides. In the opening minutes, both the 'cavistes' and the Reus players hit the crossbar or post, demonstrating their offensive intent. In the 12th minute, Martí Casas missed a penalty, saved by Martí Zapater, after a foul on Maxi Oruste. Shortly after, the pace stabilized with longer possessions.

Noia was the first to open the scoring with a penalty converted by Xavi Costa in the 17th minute, following a foul by Guillem Jansà. Reus's reaction was immediate, with Pol Martínez equalizing in the 19th minute. With eight minutes remaining, Pau Andreu once again leveled the score for Noia (5-5). However, with less than a minute and a half left, Joan Salvat capitalized on a rebound to score the decisive goal, giving Reus Deportiu a 5-6 victory. This result allows Reus to maintain fourth position in the OK Liga with three matches remaining. Their next fixture will be on April 11 against Voltregà at the Palau d'Esports.
