Reus Deportiu secured a significant 5-6 victory against Noia at the Ateneu de Sant Sadurní, in a match from the twenty-third round of the OK Liga marked by intensity and a remarkable comeback.

The 'rojinegros' visited the Ateneu de Sant Sadurní a week after the Copa del Rey, facing a direct rival. Before the game, both teams were separated by only three points in the standings, with Reus in fourth position and Noia in fifth. The victory allowed the Reus team to achieve their fourteenth win of the season.
The match began with a frantic pace and very vertical play from both sides. In the opening minutes, both the 'cavistes' and the Reus players hit the crossbar or post, demonstrating their offensive intent. In the 12th minute, Martí Casas missed a penalty, saved by Martí Zapater, after a foul on Maxi Oruste. Shortly after, the pace stabilized with longer possessions.

The response from Jordi Garcia's team came just seconds later, when a combination between Marc Julià and Pol Martínez allowed the 'rojinegro' number 7 to put the score at 1-1 on the Ateneu scoreboard.

Noia was the first to open the scoring with a penalty converted by Xavi Costa in the 17th minute, following a foul by Guillem Jansà. Reus's reaction was immediate, with Pol Martínez equalizing in the 19th minute. Before halftime, Xavi Costa, again from a penalty, put Noia ahead (2-1), and Aleix Esteller capitalized on a defensive lapse to make it 3-1.
The second half started with a quick goal from Maxi Oruste for Reus (3-2). Although Xavi Aragonès restored a two-goal lead for Noia with a direct free hit (4-2) in the 33rd minute, the Reus response was swift. Martí Casas narrowed the gap in the same minute (4-3) and then equalized in the 35th minute (4-4). The comeback was completed in the 37th minute when Marc Julià converted a direct free hit, putting the score at 4-5.
With eight minutes remaining, Pau Andreu once again leveled the score for Noia (5-5). However, with less than a minute and a half left, Joan Salvat capitalized on a rebound to score the decisive goal, giving Reus Deportiu a 5-6 victory. This result allows Reus to maintain fourth position in the OK Liga with three matches remaining. Their next fixture will be on April 11 against Voltregà at the Palau d'Esports.
