Reus Hosts Hip Hop and Urban Dance Championship with 576 Participants

The eighth edition of the event, including the National Final of Catalonia, will be held at the Municipal Olympic Pavilion.

The Municipal Olympic Pavilion of Reus will be the venue for the eighth edition of the Reus City Hip Hop and Urban Dance Championship – Rock The Stage, bringing together 576 dancers from 32 schools on April 25 and 26.

This competition, organized by the Baix Camp Sports Council with the support of the Reus City Council, will feature a total of 93 performances. Participants come from various locations such as Barcelona, Tarragona, Castellón, and Huesca, ranging from students new to urban dances to amateur and professional dancers.
The main competitive day will take place on Saturday. On Sunday, the event will culminate with the National Final of Catalonia for Hip Hop and Urban Dances, where groups, couples, and soloists from across Catalonia will compete for the national champion title.

The jury for this eighth edition will consist of three internationally recognized professionals in urban dances: Ariadna Arànega, Pastor Obiang, and Núria Beltran. Furthermore, the event maintains its social commitment, collaborating with various charitable organizations such as the ACNEFI Association (Catalan Association of Neurofibromatoses), the ENACH Association (which supports those affected by ultra-rare diseases of the NACH group), and the ANTIAN Association (which promotes research for Gene Therapy at the Institute of Neurosciences of the Autonomous University of Barcelona and the Vall d'Hebron Research Institute Hospital).
