Inclusive sports project for children and adolescents in situations of social vulnerability.

The Reus City Council and the Eusebio Sacristán Foundation launched the 100x100 Sports School, an inclusive football project targeting vulnerable children and adolescents in the city.

This inclusive sports initiative is specifically aimed at children and adolescents between five and fifteen years old who are in situations of social vulnerability. The official presentation took place on January 26 at the football pitch annexed to the Estadi Municipal de Reus.
Attendees included the Councillor for Social Services, Anabel Martínez Serrano, the Councillor for Health and Sports, Enrique Martín, and the founder of the foundation, Eusebio Sacristán, along with representatives from the Fundació Futbol Base Reus.
The school has been operational since October and currently has 26 participants (eight of whom are girls), primarily referred through municipal socio-educational programs. The project still has twenty free spots available for local youth.

Training sessions are held every school Monday at 5:45 PM, fostering essential values such as coexistence, respect, teamwork, and equal opportunities.

Registration has a symbolic cost of 50 euros per season, which includes equipment, thanks to the collaboration of companies such as AEQT, Muntatges Varela, and Cold2Sport. The Fundació Futbol Base Reus provides the team of monitors, including players from their Genuine League team.
Reus is the first location for the 100x100 Sports School in the Tarragona region, joining other Catalan towns like Sant Pere de Ribes, Vilanova i la Geltrú, and Sitges. The project is supported by renowned entities such as the FC Barcelona Foundation and the Cruyff Foundation.
