This new team, which depends organically on the Public Roads department, has the main mission of acting as an educational and informative element in the urban space. The agents will usually work in pairs, patrolling the different neighborhoods of the city following a territorial plan that seeks to guarantee a balanced and constant presence.
The agents' duties include raising awareness about proper waste management, bulky waste collection, public road cleanliness, and the proper use of common spaces. In addition, the service is integrated into the council's active listening policies, allowing for the collection of neighborhood concerns and the detection of recurring incident spots to plan preventive improvements.
Before starting their work, the members received specific training in mediation, conflict management, emergency protocols, and citizen service. The staff was formed through the municipal employment plan of this 2026.
