The top municipal official of Reus has reviewed her three years in office, focusing on social cohesion, urban rebalancing towards the south, and the management of strategic projects for the city.

In a recent interview, the Mayor of Reus underscored her vision of an open and inclusive city, asserting that immigration has never posed a problem for local coexistence. She also reiterated her commitment to maintaining a firm sanitary cordon against the far-right and expressed her desire to lead the PSC candidacy again in the 2027 elections.
During her term, a special focus has been placed on the development of the city's southern neighborhoods, historically considered under-invested. Projects such as the Eix Estorga, the renovation of Escultor Rocamora, and the construction of the L'Ametller nursery are examples of this commitment to homogeneous and sustainable growth. Work is also underway on the tender for the Mercat del Carrilet and the projection of new housing to address anticipated demographic growth.

"Immigration has never been a problem for the city, neither socially nor in terms of coexistence. Therefore, we must have the capacity for a city like Reus, which has been open for many centuries, to continue to be so."
